Why the checker asks for A → China → B

Most 240h confusion is not the country list. It is the route shape.

A valid 240h transit route starts in one country or region, enters mainland China, then leaves to a different country or region. Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan count as separate regions for this route test. Your citizenship is checked separately from the route shape.
